Tools to
put into practice.

Start with these four decisions. You can use them with or without SCI.

GUIDE 01

Audit your sales pipeline

For one week, record how many opportunities come in, where they come from, who responds and how many move on to an appointment or proposal. Break down losses by stage, not just by salesperson.

  • Choose a single definition of lead and opportunity
  • Record the source, entry date and owner
  • Measure conversion at each stage
  • Review why open cases stall

GUIDE 02

Design the first contact

The first response should acknowledge the inquiry, ask for missing information and propose a next step. Prepare versions for working hours and after hours, with an easy route to a person.

  • Respond through the original channel when possible
  • Use brief, relevant questions
  • Show who will follow up
  • Record the date and commitment for the next contact

GUIDE 03

Measure what you can improve

Start with four indicators: new opportunities, response time, completed appointments and closing rate. Define the period and who records each event before comparing results.

  • Review trends, not just totals
  • Segment by channel and team
  • Distinguish activity from outcomes
  • Document changes to definitions

GUIDE 04

Prepare useful automation

Choose an event that is often overlooked today, such as a confirmed appointment or a sent proposal. Define the trigger, message, owner, pause and a condition for stopping the workflow.

  • Request appropriate messaging permissions
  • Avoid sending duplicate messages to the customer
  • Allow a route to human assistance
  • Test with a small group before expanding
